The detection of GMO Soya mostly starts with the screening for 35S/NOS/FMV. Is non of this analytes detectable, RoundUp Ready Soya and RR2Yield Soya can be excluded. With the SureFood® GMO SCREEN 4 plex BAR/NPTII/PAT/CTP2:CP4 EPSPS kit additional targets can be screened. With the results for example DAS-81419 Soya can be detected or excluded.

CONGEN now introduce a new add-on, the SureFood® GMO ID 4 plex Soya I real-time PCR kit. With this kit 5 types of GMO Soya can be detected in parallel in one reaction:

After DNA isolation using the SureFood® PREP Basic (S1052) or SureFood® PREP Advanced (S1053) kit the DNA can be analyzed directly with the 4 plex Soya I kit. The different soya events are specifically and sensitively amplified by respective real-time PCR ensured by sequence specific primers and probes. The methods are according to the official event specific methods oft the EU.
